Meet Your Team
Five practitioners. One shared mission. All here for you.
At Summa Circle, you are never handed off from one provider to the next and left to fill in the gaps yourself. You have a team — five deeply skilled practitioners who know your whole story, talk to each other about it every week, and show up for you as one coordinated circle of care. These are the people in your corner.
Dr. Erin Calandra, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy — Physical Therapy & Founder
Dr. Erin Calandra has spent her entire career at the intersection of movement, healing, and whole-woman health. A dancer turned Licensed Massage Therapist, she went on to earn her Bachelor's in Exercise Science before completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2022.
Now in her mid-forties and navigating this life stage herself, she specializes in the Musculoskeletal Syndrome of Menopause — the very real physical changes that happen as estrogen and progesterone fluctuate, and that far too many women are told to simply accept. She founded Summa Circle because she believes every woman deserves a team that sees and treats all of her — not just one piece at a time. This work is her passion, her purpose, and her greatest joy.
What Erin brings to your circle:
✦ Specialization in the musculoskeletal syndrome of menopause
✦ Anti-inflammatory exercise programming
✦ Joint health, mobility and strength restoration
✦ Movement strategy and injury prevention
✦ 14 one-on-one PT sessions included in your program
✦ Superbills available for potential insurance reimbursement
A note from Erin:
I became a physical therapist because I believe that movement — walking, hiking, dancing, playing a sport — brings joy. My job is to help women preserve their physical vitality so they can hold onto the things that bring them joy through the transition of perimenopause and menopause.
But I learned early in my career that physical health cannot be maintained in isolation. It is inseparable from how we eat, how we think, how we sleep, how we feel, and how we carry the weight of everything life asks of us. That is why I built Summa Circle — and why I sought out a team of like-minded women to do something entirely new in healthcare. To treat the whole body. The whole woman. Held in one circle of care. 🌿
